Union Chapel Sunday School Hall

The Sunday School Hall, attached to the Union Chapel in Islington is undergoing restoration and redevelopment.

We’ve been asked to look at the exhibition design within the Sunday School Hall, as well as the building wide signage scheme.

As part of this new graphic treatment, thought has been given to the Sunday School Hall Brand. The Union Chapel has a strong identity, and is used on websites, posters and flyers often seen around Islington. The Sunday School Hall needs to leverage this known status, but set itself apart.

The large 8 sectioned abstracted Rose window has been retained, and a suitable font to work across all the media uses has been found. This new font, EFCO Songster, from the Ephemera range has been chosen to work across signage, graphics, large scale wall quotes and digital assets.

As the project develops, we are currently in the final detailed design phase we will show examples of sample prints and colour schemes as the project comes together.
