Conwy Castle Audio Tour Installation

On a cold rainy day in November, the audio tour was finally installed into the Castle at Conwy.

Over the Summer, the Guide ID system of Podcatchers had been partially installed, ready for our arrival and updated with the new English and Welsh audio.

All it needed now was the installation of our 20 location posts, painted Cadw Green, and positioned into the rooms, towers and grounds.

Each location allows the visitor a chance to hear 3 pieces of conversation.

The first tells the story of the exact location as envisaged in the late 13th Century, the second is a fun fact to spot, while the third takes you on a deep dive of castle knowledge…
